Shipping policy
Our Shipping costs are free for most order over £75.00 (Excludes heavy items such as Braai Wood etc). Any Order under £75.00 will be shipped at a rate of £5.00 per order (Excludes heavy items such as Braai Wood etc). Please remember that adding a few more bags of your favourite Biltong might just mean you get free shipping.
When items are sent by any method we don't guarantee any delivery times as this is out of our control.
Heavy items have a separate charge for delivery
At busier times such as Christmas it may take a few days to dispatch your order. If your order is needed urgently, please call first first on 01270 382386 or email us at info@thewestonbiltongcompany.co.uk so we can advise on delivery time scales.
From time to time, we may offer free shipping on certain items. (UK Only) in most cases this will be via Royal mail 48hr Tracked.
We use Royal Mail for most of our shipping you can track your order by downloading their app. At busy times of the year we may use other service's.
If multiple items are ordered, we will package them in as few as possible boxes to help reduce our carbon footprint and environmental impact. If you require items to be packed as displayed in the images for gifts etc please let us know when ordering.
If any items are received damaged, we require the following details/info, so we are able to make a claim with the courier company that delivered the goods.
Pictures of
The condition the item was received in including images of the postage label, the outer packaging (Most times the items will be in a Couriers bag we need images of this) the contents of the parcel and any damage to them. These need to be submitted to us within 24hrs of the item been delivered or we may not be able to make a claim. And email them to info@thewestonbiltongcompany.co.uk
We will then proceed with a claim with the courier company if we believe the damage has been caused by them.
This may take up to 10 working days and maybe longer at certain times of the year. You will be notified once a decision has been made.
We will do everything we can to resolve the issue, but we will need all the details above to action any resolution.
Any order that is returned to us by our Couriers due to incorrect/incomplete delivery address will be charged our regular of £5 fee to have it resent or a refund of the product items on the order will only be given in this case. (This is due to us still having to pay our couriers to attempt delivery)
Most Items are sent out next day (UK Only) if ordered before 12.00 UK time it can take longer at peak periods up to 5 days. This is not always possible as your order may need to be freshly prepared, if you require the order to be sent urgently, please contact us at info@thewestonbiltongcompany.co.uk before ordering to ensure that your requirements can be met.
Packaging - From time to time it maybe necessary to send items in different packaging to what is shown in the images, this may be due to many factors. If you require your item sent in a particular way please do add a note to your order.
