Made by the award-winning Nederburg, the 56 Hundred line brings uncomplicated, pleasant wines, which pay homage to the winery's founder, Philippus Wolvaart, who in 1791 had bought the property for exactly 56 hundred (5,600 guilders). This tasty and typical Sauvignon Blanc certainly pays him a worthy tribute.
