Interestingly enough, Rose's Cordials have their origins in Edinburgh, where Mr. Lauchlin Rose, a shipbuilder, noticed the need for lime juice to prevent scurvy. But he also saw the need for a more palatable alternative, so he branded the lime juice as a Lime Mixer and thus began the Rose's Cordials range.
